I play Demos Too Much
RE5, LotR:C, Fear 2, L4D, etc! ! ! !

I think I'm a professional demo tester. When I hear something is coming out and a demo will be released, I just flock to it and am there the minute it's released to open it up.
Does anyone else do this?
When L4D came out, I got my game stop code, and the process wasn't instantaneous. Since I didn't have my demo code within 2 hours, I returned the game to gamestop and just ordered it off Steam.
I then proceeded to play the demo for L4D for a total of 30 hours. I think I'm on 5 hours with FEAR 2, I play LotR:C for a good 10 hours. Does anyone else have this habit where a demo is good enough to satisfy you for a more than just a few play throughs?
I've played the RE5 Demo with my buddy every night online 4 times. We switch off each character for each level which equals four run throughs.
Is it just me?!

i play any demo that comes out, but i usually dont play them long.. just enough to see if i enjoy the game and then i am done.
I just played the Killzone 2 demo. While playing, I pooped my pants after dropping a grenade behind a Helghast and watching him fly through the air. I played the demo through again before wiping.
That was a really gross way of me saying that this game is amazing.
@Jozzy - lol't.
If a demo is sweet enough, I can totally understand playing it through to exhaustion. L4D was definitely one of those demos (especially with the director helping things be a little randomized).
Some demos...leave me wanting more and just don't have that replay value. Those are usually the games that end up sucking.
Did you download the Killzone 2 demo off the UK store yet? If you don't have a UK account, I strongly suggest it. They have different things than us. Their version of HOME is pretty good, too. Looks nicer in the square....and the movie theater....and that's it.
I find most demos don't give you a good enough idea of the game, so I just skip them.
I could see replaying multi-player demos though.
OH man I'll have to check out the UK store QMarc.
I'm happy to find out it's not only me. There could be some reasoning.
