Id just released their Quake Live Beta to the masses and didn't expect the massive amounts of traffic they were bombarded with.

You pretty much get the last generation of Quake for free with the newer Quake 4 maps part of the bunch.  Can't complain about free but drink a few Red Bulls and start twitching and convulsing at your computer.

It's got an intuitive match making system so you don't cry after playing for 3 minutes because you can't run around a corner because the dude with no life just knows.  (That's it, just knows)
