You can do it around the clock, you can do it like a hurricane, you can even do it down to Electric Avenue.  Regardless how you do it, though, you love to ROCK.  Who the hell doesn’t?  It’s fun, it’s freeing, it usually costs nothing and it might even help you lose weight.  There’s almost no downside to ROCKing out, in fact, with the possible exception of lifelong tinnitus and getting Creed songs stuck in your head.

So you love to ROCK, right?  Well PROVE IT!  Gamervision is holding the first ever “Prove You Love To ROCK!” contest, and the winner will receive a brand new copy of Guitar Hero On Tour for the DS, complete with the cool guitar plug-in thingy.  From July 31 to August 11, we’ll be scouring your avatars for the person who best expresses their undying, unrelenting, unyielding love of the ROCK! (No, not Dwayne Johnsosn, and not the Sean Connery Alcatraz movie, either.  You know what I’m talking about, people.)

How to enter:

Update your avatar to prove your love of ROCK and leave a comment on this article that you are ROCKing for a prize.  That’s it.  Whatever it takes to display your passion for rocking out, that’s what you need to do.  You can dress up as a famous ROCKer and take a picture of yourself, create an original piece of art that shows off both your artistic and ROCK-tastic skills, or whatever else you can think of to demonstrate your ROCK obsession.  Nothing’s out of bounds (Except porno.  Don’t be that guy.)

And don't forget, you can now make your avatar animated, so feel free to show yourself rocking out in full motion!

On Monday, August 11 we’ll announce the five finalists, chosen by Gamervision staffers.  From those five, the winner will be chosen by the Gamervision community in the form of a poll question on the main page.
