Rockstar’s Table Tennis Serves the Wii
With Added Waggle!
by Gamervision
Rockstar Presents Table Tennis is a game we here at Gamervision like a great deal. It is one of the most action packed sports games to come out on the next-gen platforms and scored good reviews all around.
The game was originally developed to test Rockstar’s new RAGE engine- the graphical engine they used to build the new Grand Theft Auto - and it ended up as much more than that. Now it seems it will find a new home.
This guy won't be in it. Sadly.
The Wii version will feature full motion controls and Rockstar promises an amazing experience.
"Ever since we released Table Tennis, fans have been asking us to create a Wii version," said Sam Houser, Founder and Executive Producer of Rockstar Games. "By bringing Table Tennis to the Wii and utilizing the motion-sensitive Wii Remote, a new audience can now experience a game that is beautifully designed and impossible to put down." -- Rockstar
This could either be a huge success or a failure of epic proportions. If the 360 version is anything to go buy it will be a blast - lets hope the wagging of the remote doesn't screw it up. We expect this graphically downgraded port to bring graphically updated FUN!
Editor's note: Apologies all around for Coop's corny joke. Thank you and enjoy your day.

Although I liked this game for the 360, how excited should I be by a ping pong game?
this game was AWESOME for the 360. Two player was flawless.... That being said, the game play was built around timing and intuitive movement. If they do this right, Table Tennis might be the reason I finally get a Wii....if I could only find one to buy.
I've played a couple Wii titles, including Wii sports (thx Dan!) & this game seems absolutely perfect for it.
