At heart, The First 45 is a first impressions video. There's a catch, the impressions we offer are taken solely from the first 45 minutes that we spend playing a game. They say first impressions are the most important, and we feel it is the same with games. If you really aren't pulled into a game within the initial hour, chances are good you won't dig it after that.
There are no exceptions, this is exactly the beginning 45 minutes, from the time we boot up the game. What if the game pulls an MGS and starts with a 30 minute cutscene? That's too bad. We live in a fast pace society, and we don't have time to waste. We just want to play games.

I'm loving the game so far, so much more to do than GTA4 too. A love the fact that you unlock GPS Shortcuts when you drive outside of known roads too.
My copy is one of the misprinted batch though, so I'll have to exchange it, but so far I'm having a lot more fun than I did with GTA4's singleplayer. (multiplayer I'd say GTA4 is still a lot better)

only good part i see is the character custo
The first one turned me off. This one looks like crap. The driving reminds me of Crazy Taxi. Gets a big meh all around.
I loved Saints Row. This is basically exactly the same so far, which I like and don't like at the same time. Comparing it to GTA at this point though is sort of silly. The main difference is that Saints Row certainly doesn't take itself too seriously and I haven't thoroughly enjoyed a GTA since Vice City partly because of that reason. I think this is just way more fun in the end. Since I'm typing this as the video plays I now see you basically agree on the "it's just fun" factor.
