Denon has announced the N7, a beautiful small system that aims to handle all your digital audio needs.
The RCD-N7 ($599) is a compact integrated amplifier with integral iPod dock, USB input, CD player, Ethernet and wireless connectivity. There are also two additional analog inputs, plus an optical digital input.
You can stream music from your computer and play Internet radio like Pandora, Rhapsody and Napster. If you want to add a subwoofer, there's a sub out.
The other half of the N7 system are the two-way $199 N7 Speakers.
At $800 for what is basically just a small bookshelf system, the N7 is a little on the pricy side. For that money you could get a decent receiver and some great stereo speakers, or even a set of decent satellites. The network capabilities, though, aren't available in the lower end receivers just yet.
And it sure is purdy.
The N7 ships this month.
