It seems like the whole Manhunt 2 debacle is drawing to a close. Rockstar announced they would be releasing Manhunt 2 as a modified M rated version on October 31, 2007. There is no news as to exactly what they did change in order to get the lower rating, or whether the bans in Europe will be affected. One thing is sure, Manhunt 2 will do well. Nothing helps sell a gory title than the promise of controversial material. Every kid wants to play the game that not only their parent's don't want them to see, but also their government.
