First StarCraft II Television Commercial is Zergtastic
Or Terraniffic. Or Protastic.
The wait is almost over. In just a few months, Blizzard will be releasing StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty, the first part in the trilogy. If you're one of the many who has been waiting years for this day, the asking cost of $60 for 1/3 of the game you originally expected is a small price to pay for happiness. If you're still on the fence, it might seem like a bit too much. Either way, the first TV commercial has been released, and will likely tip anyone over onto the side of blind fanboy in just 30 seconds. Take a look.
It's a good, old fashioned gameplayless video, though I can hardly blame them. Shooters and adventure games might look good on television, but real-time strategies would end up seeming like overcomplicated messes when popping up in-between episodes of Cake Boss or 16 and Pregnant. Either way, the video is cool, and does its job of reminding people that it's high time they get excited. The release is almost upon us, people, it's likely a good time to upgrade the hell out of your computer. Take out the checkbooks, it's going to be a doosey.
