Paradox's Impulse Catalog Sees 50% Off Sale
Nothing Gratuitous About It

Usually, we wait until the weekend to do a sales article, but there are some days where exceptions to that rule need to be taken. Today is such a day. This week, Paradox's games are all 50% off on Impulse, meaning that hits like Mount and Blade Warband and Gratuitous Space Battles Complete are signifigantly cheaper than they were the last time you checked (or, rather, should have checked). There are nearly 20 games on the list, many of which have seen critical success over the years.
If you're looking for an excuse to fill your PC hard drive with games, this might be a perfect chance, especially if you’re a fan of more… traditional PC games. Sure, you won’t see Call of Duty, Gears of War, or Half-Life 2 on there, but at this point there are few developers really making games for PC gamers. Paradox is one of them, and the least you could do, as a PC gamer, is take a look at the sales. There are even some desktop tools to mess around with, so you can download some programs to make Windows XP, Vista, and 7 even prettier. And then you can stick your tongue out at all of your Mac using friends. You can check them (them, of course, being the games on sale) all out right here. The sale is running through the week, which means it'll likely be over by the weekend.
Planning on buying anything on the list? I'm not going to lie, Gratuitous Space Battles is one of those games that I've been eying for a few months. Maybe, just maybe, it's time to pounce. I do love gratuitous things...
