Team ICO Collection Listed on Amazon
Shadow of the Colossus HD? Please!
Only days ago, Sony announced that the Sly Cooper Collection that is being brought to the PlayStation 3 would carry the branding "Classics HD," confirming Sony's plans to bring more PS2 gems to the PlayStation 3 in HD (and, likely, 3D) glory. Now, Amazon's French website has put up a listing for the Team ICO Collection, which is scheduled for an early 2011 release. This falls in line with previous rumors about the bundle, which also set the compilation at Q1 2011. The catch? As of now, the game is set at a €69.95 asking price. For those who don't know how to convert funny money to US dollars, that's roughly $85, a price that we're hoping is a placeholder.
On the one hand, Team ICO's titles might be better suited for the HD treatment than all others on the system. On the other hand, $85? Really? Really? The price should be half that, despite the fact that two games are on the disk. Hell, you can go buy them new for under $85 at this point, charging more than that is simply silly. Then again, there's likely no price they could name for HD versions of Shadow of the Colossus and ICO that I wouldn't pay.
So, what other games would you like to see brought to HD? This is really it for me, I can't think of anything I'd want more than these.
