Impulse has marked down the original Warhammer 40k: Dawn of War Gold Edition by 50%, from $10 an a much more reasonable $10. On the Steam side of things, you can buy Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 for 17% off, bringing the PC game from $60 to $49.99. If you were boycotting Activision's FPS because of the price, this presents a great chance to get the game without feeling like you've buckled under pressure. Even more alluring is the Free Multiplayer Weekend, which includes double XP, meaning you can jump into the online component of one of 2009's best games for no money at all.
