Bananas have a relatively short shelf life.  Sure, they ripen on your counter, but one couldn't say that they get better with age.  You've really only got a week or two to enjoy them.  Donkey Kong Country for the SNES is not a banana.  It is just as good today as the it was the day that my sweaty little 10-year-old paws unwrapped it.

In this case, DKC is not a game that you likely missed, but it's probably a game you haven't thought about in the last 10-15 years.  Fix that.
