Game overload?
Still no PS3 in the house, but the Wii and the Xbox have been occupying a large part of my time lately. So far they are really totally different from one another and that's OK, except it raises the ugly specter of eventually having to own all of the systems out there. If you added them all up, and believe me if I had a pencil I might, it's a whole bunch of moola, not to mention the price of the games. But here's the thing: 149 million people in the USA are playing video games. Not all at the same time mind you, but the point is that maybe, just maybe, as one of the "new media" forms of entertainment, video games may turn out to be a bargain.

149 million people. Wow that is about half. Holy crap, a fourth of our nation over 18 is unemployed, but half the people play video games.
