As my last day of relaxation winds down, I find myself excited and terrified of the days to come. I am in Las Vegas for the International CES (Consumer Electronics Show).  I was here a year ago with Sean and Coop.  It was a hectic experience to say the least.  The sheer volume of people was enough to intimidate even a gregarious fellow as myself. Now a year later, I must face the show alone.

While my role at Gamervision is not as a writer, I feel inclined to update our community with any relevant information I can get my hands on.

I will be attending a Street Fighter 4 event at Planet Hollywood. It will include three teams competing against each other to prove SF4 dominance. Members of Microsoft’s community (lead by Major Nelson) with throw down with members of Sony PlayStation Blog (lead by Jeff Rubenstein) and Capcom Unity (lead by Seth Killian).  This should definitely be interesting.

Another interesting Capcom event will be the opportunity to play Resident Evil 5 projected seven stories high on the Planet Hollywood towers.  I am very excited about this.  I have had a chance to play demo of RE5, but the thought of shooting at 70 foot tall zombies certainly has sparked my interest.  I will be sure to take many pictures for you all!

Activision, Microsoft, Sony and many others will have a gaming presence at the show.
