With it being proven that I do not have the swine flu, and with my quarintine being lifted Sunday, I present to you my impressions of the Marvel vs. Capcom 2 PS3 exclusive demo that I played at QMarc's house.

1) You can only play as 6 characters:

Ryu, Spider Man, Wolverine, Iron Man, Chun Li, and Strider Hiryu are all playable in this demo. This doesn't even touch the surface of the depth of this classic. Holy heck I'm old I called it a classic.

2) It's every bit as intact as its Arcade and console predicessors.

Very little has changed. We played this game on a 36" Visio HDTV. It looked very similar to how it did to the Dreamcast (less blocky, but similar nonetheless). Yay for preserving authencity, but no HD treatment here. Also the fact that this in an intact game means that Wolverine is still cheap.

3) It does not play at all like Street Fighter.

Don't hit the L or R buttons expecting a punch like I did at first.

4) Button mashing produces results, but how do you tag your next character in already?

I couldn't figure it out for the life of me. I just kept playing my character until he died.

This one will be worth the wait. In the meantime, PS3 owners can brush up on their Wolverine and Ryu skills. Expect a review from me when it comes out.
