Playstation Home: Reflection
Its old to you but its new to me.
by Mikhailov

I already spent quite a bit of time buying furniture with real money, shopping for clothes...with real money, and chasing turkeys...for free. I'm not sure why I'm finding a game similar to "Second Life" fun, but there is something about putting on virtual clothes, walking around a virtual mall, and meeting virtual people that makes me wonder why I'm not doing these things in real life instead.
I even bought a golden toilet and put several iterations of it in my harborside apartment. Apparently I can make it a Pirate Cove if I really wish....and I shelled out more real money.
I can't seem to get my avatar to look quite like me. Maybe I should have made a girl avatar like I do in just about everything else. I don't know if I like looking at a virtual version of my fat face and big gut. At least I get to hold a virtual PSP Go in my Virtual hands and my virtual shoes glow a virtual blue.
It would seem like the novelty of PS Home would wear off pretty quickly, but I still seem to be enjoying and exploring it. It is quite fun...and realistic. Definitely a step up from my "let's just stand there" XBL Avatar.
Some other news: My LBP level was updated, and I only have one "hearted" and about a 2-3 star rating. QMarc said it was because my level sucks. I said "Pish Posh." If you have LBP PSP, please check it out.
Thanks to everyone who sent me their PSN name. I sent requests out, and hope there is some game out there we can play together.
Not much else to say. I'll be reviewing GOW collection and Patapon 2 shortly, and I'm still debating about that "Deadliest Warrior" I mentioned earlier. I need time it's such a premium nowadays.

Hey just saw that you got a ps3 welcome to the club... Anyways my PSN name is enemycj i just sent you a request. look forward to seeing you on.
Listen, don't make a girl in PlayStation Home unless you want nonstop dumbass comments and to get hit on constantly. I've been meaning to play more LBP PSP and try out your level but I stupidly forgot the game when I was away last weekend and haven't had time yet this week. Soon!
@Sarah: Good point. I did notice virtual guys hitting on virtual girls trying to get some virtual booty. Plus MMOs are one thing, but I'm not sure somewhere like PS Home is a place where one should be misrepresented.
No rush on the level. I hope you like it when you do get around to it. I'm looking at making a PS3 one but it looks 3x as involved.
It was old to me even when I was in the beta.
