Super Smash Bros. Rated by ESRB for Virtual Console
Huh?
by Mikhailov

Wiifanboy, someone I follow on Twitter, posted a Tweet saying that the original Super Smash Bros. was rated by the ESRB for a Virtual Console release. It received an E rating. There is no word on the official release date for North America. It is already released on Japanese consoles.
This just has me asking the question, "why?"
I don't ask because it's coming to VC. It definitely should and anyone who wants it should feel free to download it. I ask "why" because people are actually anticipating this game and are apparently upset becase it isn't out yet. When you have a huge pile of awesome that is Super Smash Bros. Brawl, why would you demand to go back to the original? I would download and play it only because of the nostalgia it would give me. I wouldn't demand it or play it over Brawl. What do you think is the reasoning for this?

Actually, I know a number of people who much prefer ssb to ssbm or ssbb.
In case you want to go "oh, that's how crappy it looked"
@TimO: Those people are stupid and smelly because they're obviously 100 years old.
@Coop: Spoken like a true child. Maybe if you had been out of diapers in the N64 era...
Wait, I don't even like Smash Bros.
I never got through the original Earthbound. Maybe when I get my hands on this I can play it.
