Um....guys...I did something.

Upon completion of this video, I found out that I didn't get a free Rock Band Unplugged. I got a Rock Band Unplugged "Lite" with only 5 games. The rest I have to DLC. This pisses me off because I can't load my band save file from my original game.
Also the Game Stop guy lied and said there was a free GT download for registering, but I have yet to find it, and it hasn't shown up on any forum or anything.
Also also I missed the free Undead Knights "Demo" as well. I'm 0 for 3.
Dissidia isn't on the PSN. 0 for 4.
My bank screwed up and put me in the negative when I most certainly should not be, so I can't download GT or Monster Hunter.
At least I was able to get FF7 and Castlevania tonight...I'll have to re-download the Rock Band songs tomorrow and start my band all over again.
I'm loving this system, but I'm hating the Sony red tape involved...and my bank account.
Don't kill me guys I should have listened. :( And on top of it I'm making you listen to my horrid nerd voice. I wonder if I teach with that annoying voice I feel bad for my kids if I do.

Seriously, though, grats. I think Sony has done some stupid things with the PSPgo, but most of it can be walked around, and it looks sexy as all hell.
I got one too and felt JUST as shitty =(
But, I have faith that Sony will bust some awesomeness out of their sleeves for this. As far as GT, I read you only get it if you pre-ordered the go.

Congratulations on the POS1! JK. Like any big launch, there will be hiccups, but the hardware is really sexy. It sucks that Sony stiffed you on Rock Band and GS screwed you on GT. Great job on the unboxing video! Take pride in being an early adopter, anyone around here will tell you I am all about impulse buys!

Thanks for the kind words. :) I am happy with the system overall. I just wish there was a little more for trading in my UMDs and going without for a week. I have put movies and music on the Go, which is something I haven't been able to do with the 3000, so once I'm able to get my games back I'll be completely happy with this system.
Why can't one be about thongs AND impulse buys? The buy one get one free sale at Victoria's Secret: Like totally!

@Mikhailov: Like 00.19 said, the free Gran Turismo offer was for Europe only. That GameStop employee was either ill-informed or a lying scumbag; I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and say that he probably just got some bad information from higher-ups.
At least you have FF7 and Castlevania (I assume you mean Symphony of the Night, the best Castlevania game ever made). They should keep you occupied until you can re-establish your PSP collection.
@Sarah: What ended up happening was I didn't really have time to play with it on Thursday. I downloaded FFVII and Castlevania (which provided me with HOURS of entertainment when I had it on PS1...like you said best Castlevania ever...I would go through as Ricther when I was done with Alucard...and the upside down castle). I also put a movie and some music on it and called it a night.
Friday was when I found out that the Rock Band "demo" was actually the game with only 5 tracks. They put the tracks on DLC so I did a "Make your own Rock Band" and downloaded all the songs I like...about the same as paying retail for the game. I also got GT and Monster Hunter and I have $30 to spare. I'm deciding which game to get next. I'm not interested in any of the Minis, but Disgaea, Battlefront II, and God of War have piqued my interest. I may also save it for Pixeljunk or that 30 second hero game.
I know I should have kept my 3000, but I'm really liking the Go now, and it's a big hit at parties and Magic the Gathering tournaments.
