My Xbox is back!
Revenge is a dish best served cold
by NickDynmo
No doubt by now you've heard of the tragedy that struck my 360 a little over a fortnight ago. Well now my faithful black console has returned to me (much sooner than anticipated!), and the good times have begun again.
That said, I wish to issue an invitation to my previous Xbox's murderer, Sean. Sean, if you're reading this, I wish to issue a friendly challenge: GTA IV, you pick the time and day (I'm off for the next six days). Just give me a day or two to get back into the swing of things. Chances are you'll win anyway, as I've never really been that good at it in the first place. Either way, the game is still fun as hell, win or lose. Oh, and Sean? It is ON.

he's just going to kill your xbox again, dude
First of all, I'm not that good either.
Secondly, some people never learn. I accept your challenge Nick. A word of advice before we get into the shit: don't stand on the edge of the dock. You might get run over, and I might laugh hysterically.
But at least the next time I kill your system you can sleep secure in the knowledge that you'll have it back lickety-split.
they really gave you a new Xbox 360!!! Sooner then it should have been. Is this a fantasy dream???
Grats dude! The new Falcon Chipset is a lot quieter and cooler than the ones before it.
Jealous
Good to hear you've got it back! Now we can let the good times roll in GTA IV. :D
This one actually is a lot quieter so far, which is a very good thing. The last one was loud as hell. Still makes the room really warm, though. Even with the door and windows open. Still, nice heater in the winter. Truly, it is a "fantasy dream."
Somehow, during it's two-week state of hibernation and inactivity, my white controller's battery died, and it took 5 friggin' hours to charge it. How this happened, I'm not sure. Whatever.
I recall that that week, my story was mentioned on Somethingcast (much to my chagrin). I appreciated the support, though I never actually verbally (or, considering I'd be typing, manually) expressed it. That said, Sean will need all the support he can get from you guys once I'm though with him! :O
