My prayers have been answered. Guitar Hero has just announced that they are working on a Guitar Hero 80's rock block game to be released for Playstation 2 (no word on any other platforms/consoles yet). Seven out of 30 songs have been announced. And they are.... Round and Round - Ratt I Want Candy - Bow Wow Wow Metal Health - Quiet Riot Holy Diver - Ronnie James Dio Heat of the Moment - Asia ...and the original tracks of: I Ran - Flock of Seagulls I Wanna Rock - Twisted Sister Do you know what I like about this? Guitar Hero I and II are great and all, with an extensive and eclectic catalog of songs, however, the cheese factor was very low. Guitar Hero Rock the 80's so far has proven to be highly potent in cheesiness. And that is exactly what I need... ...to survive. I can't help but think this game was made just for me.
