11:26: Asked where they buy their video games. EB Games usually, but have been shopping a lot of Fred Myers because it seems like nobody even knows they sell games.
11:24: Asked if they think E3 could last after the way it's going. Jerry says "no". Mike thinks it might be too late to go back to the original E3. When asked if E3 could be like PAX, Mike explains that there was a community with PAX that can't be duplicated.
11:23: Jerry and Mike officially not ok with people being kicked off games on the floor for private demos. Next year it'll be a rule that that can't be done.
11:21: Back to the booth babes. Are they surprised? Mike says the people that have them, didn't ask cause they'd say no. Jerry says it's generally not their policy. Though the Frag Dolls are a gray area, the reason they allow them is because they're actualy really good at games.
11:20 New original stuff or old stuff? "There's room for both"
11:17: If they had all the game reviewers in one room, what would they request of them? Jerry believes people are just trying to do the best they can, but maybe they're just naive. Mike believes that number scaled reviews are outdated, ridiculous and don't help anyone.
11:15: What's frustrating you with games lately as a hobby or an industry? Mike "It's just too much, I'm not going to be able to play it all". Wishes that they'd change the schedule of a dead summer and a busy fall. Jerry defends that the last few weeks of XBLA games have been "really cool".
11:13: Ask their relationship with Tim Buckley. Mike says his an art criminal and belongs in jail. "Jerry thinks he's the antichrist" Jerry answers "I didn't say that..."
11:10 Who do they think will be the most successful of the PAX 10? Jerry confesses he didn't get to see one of the games and feels he can't judge fairly, but says that Polarity was short but incredible.
11:09: Next year they'll have to rent out the 6th floor as well.
11:07 Favorite swear words. Jerry: "Twat vomit"
11:05: Waldo is in the room, they're asked if they could find him. Needless to say, they did.
Asked what we can expect in episode 2. Jerry explains that they learned a lot about what everyone wants, there'll be 4 levels of difficulty. Really happy about the writing for the second episode and feels comfident.
11:03 Asked how they enjoyed being rick rolled by Jonathan Coulton last night. Mike: "He rickrolled us twice!!". Jerry:"I Loved it"
Mike excited for Dead Space, Mirror's Edge. Jerry got a chance to play Dead Space at SD Comicon, was really impressed by it. Says the audio design was "incredible" and "chilling". Excited for War Hammer Online.
11:02: Why did Gemetry Wars replace pictionary? Too early in the event, would have taken too many people to play it. Just want to agitat the Omeganauts.
11:00: Mike is offered Billy Mitchell's number.
What's the inspiration behind Omegathon. Jerry: "reality television" Mike explains a game of Boom Blox that was won by a guy who didn't throw any balls. Jerry: "WHAT!?!"
10:58: Impartial to Omegathon. Can't really personally pick until the final two.
10:56 Time asks "if you weren't the kings of PAX, what would you be doing this weekend" Jerry says he's been spending a lot of the time in the exhibition. Since they don't attend E3 etc. this is their chance to check out the games, so that's where he'd spend his time. Mike would be playing games, see The Guild panel. Jerry says after the Jonathan Coulton show that by 3, all the people on the third floor were playing board games...
10:55: State that 75% of people travel outside of Washington state to PAX.
10:54: Suggest to play Polarity.
10:51: One journalist noticed a lack of swearing and asks if they're trying to seperate themselves from Gabe and Tycho. They answer that they're just really tired and running on 4 hours of sleep, and then "Fuck."
10:47: Asked how the balance their time with their comic and game. Jerry says "I find it difficult, but I find everything difficult...I think we can barely manage the workload as is."
Mike: 32 pages in on a Prince of Persia project. Jerry explains how not sleeping creates time, and is therefore productive.
10:45: Best video game system and why? Jerry: "it's kind of early for that question..." DC, PSO...
10:43: "How does it feel to be kinds of the internet?" Mike says, "I don't know, I don't feel like that..." Jerry - "I can only see so many people at once, so the scoope, you can't really grasp it...It's always metered out"
10:42: Mike:"All we ever done is do whatever we want." Amen to that. Assure if they'd even have a plan, it'd be impressive. Working ona clothing line, something "classy".
10:40: What sets PAX apart from Comicon? "Four times the attendants" says Jerry. Also, credit to a great venue. They have high hopes for Comiccons future.
10:38: Any interesting in continuing animation? Like to think of the game as their animated series. Chose to do the game over a show, and feel that was the better choice. No real desire for animate show in the future, realized they're "too lazy?" and that they "don't want to sell our souls".
10:37: Support for a second PAX for 2010? "People have been asking for that show since we started west coast PAX"
10:36: Question about PAX on the east coast and their vision for it. They want it to be "totally sweet". Also they'd like to finish this one before they think of the next one.
Why they wanted to do PAX in Boston. Had a chance to spend some time there, were impressed by the MIT kids and were down with Harmonix.
10:35: Some love for Amber and Robert.
10:34: Discussing the booth babes. They think the lady pirate is an actual pirate.
10:32: Jerry wants to make a bit of a brawler remix from the strips.
10:31: What's the best kind of fruit for fruit fucking? No answer :[
10:30: Idea for turn base ping pong game.
10:28: Jerry and Mike (Gabe & Tycho) just took a seat.
10:14: We scored some sweet seats. Someone is making a coffee run for Tim, which must mean he's really important or something. Or maybe he tips really well...
