A Floppy Floppy Disc

If there was any good way to start the day it would be hugging a relic of the past, personified into something cute and personable. Oh, hey look! It's a squishy, happy floppy disc. Just like the doctor ordered. And by doctor, I mean myself. What? I happen to have an honorary degree in cute medicine. Get off my nuts!

Now if only I could figure out how to reach into the computer and grab it. My studies didn't really cover that... Until I can figure this bit of tricky physics and computer science out, you can order the Mini Floppy Disc Pillow from ShanaLogic for $18.00.

This Guy Has Seen Better Days

The real question is do you guys think he pulls one of those typewriter Looney Tunes stunts when he eats corn on the cob? You know the bit that I'm talking about. It was the only way you ate corn on the cob from ages 5-7 (and then again at 29-33). I'm going to say he totally does. And he probably even provides his own ding at the end of the ear.

My hero.

Book Shelf Shelves

Books really have it made. I mean, all they have to do is sit around at home and be interesting. And here we are, working our butts off to supply the funds to buy them more friends and more shelves to house all their friends. Not only that, but books have the influence to call the shots on where we live in order to fit their needs. It's not our fault that you and your posse take up so much room and we have to pay so much more rent for a bigger place. Okay, maybe it's a little bit our fault, but until you start paying rent and pulling your weight around here, I'll continue to blame you. First step, be your own bookshelf like Mark Reigelman's Book Shelves. Dang, Mark. That's twice in one week. You're on fire! Just like my books soon will be if they don't get their act together.

Tiny Jerboa - No, You're Not Hallucinating

Holy freakin' mother of God, this little creature looks like something I'd see in a fever dream after playing way too much Q*bert. I can't tell if it's totally adorable or absolutely horrifying. For the record, this is a pygmy jerboa, which meant nothing to me at first since I have never seen a jerboa before. Apparently they're some kind of hopping rodent with giant ears and wicked long tails. In other words, it's like a mouse knocked up a kangaroo who pooped out a preemie.

I'm so... confused.

Sleeved Blanket - Take That Slanket!

When it comes to sheets with sleeves, I've heard from multiple sources that the Slanket puts the Snuggie to shame with its higher quality of fabrics, functionality and general way of life. I personally don't know much about the sleeve craze since all I have is this robe and blanket, but if the Slanket is essentially a sleeved blanket (unlike the Snuggie which is just a backwards robe), where does that leave the Sleeved Blanket on the scale of sleeved goodness? I mean, it looks cuter than a Slanket, but what do I know? Like I said before, all I have is this robe and blanket.

Someone else please figure this out for me: Who would win in Nikkita Inanimate Object Battle Royale-athon? I'm tempted to vote for the Sleeved Blanket, based solely on its unmodified name. Pfft, Slanket. Who do you think you're fooling?

Check out the Happiness In Bed - Sleeved Blanket here.

Movie Bloopers Of 1936

Before I fall into a snow induced slumber (luckily this won't be the same degree of hibernation as the storm from like, 2 weeks ago), here's a fun little diddy of a video of bloopers from the good year of 1936. And these aren't no Jimmy Fallon giggle fits, we're talking about the crack downs of them fancy and classy stars featuring:

Humphrey Bogart, Joe E. Brown, James Cagney, Bette Davis, Kay Francis, Leslie Howard, Paul Lukas, Barton MacLane, Fredric March, Paul Muni, Pat O'Brien, Claude Rains, Edward G. Robinson, Warren William, etc.

Enjoy!
