Here's a great tutorial by Jocelyn over at Snack Or Die for some homemade Pac Man sugar cookies. Unlike the geek cakes and cupcakes we frequently see here on the Dairy and about the net, these cookies actually look like they want to be eaten. That'd be a nice change to not feel guilty over destroying a piece of pastry art with my tummy.
As for the ghosty shape, Jocelyn used a tulip shaped cookie cutter. Good to know since a tulip would probably be easier to find than digging around through the ol' Halloween bin. Also, she went for food coloring in paste form, which apparently creates a brighter color than with the liquid food dye.

Beijing Olympics Opening Ceremonies

China is kind of far away, so we're going to have to wait until tonight for NBC's delayed broadcast of the opening ceremonies of the Beijing Olympics. Until then we can stare at these gorgeous photos taken of the event. I seriously feel like my head is swimming in glitter and LEDs, and I love it.

The USB drives are giving a whole new meaning to business attire. Between the USB necktie from Dialog5 and the USB cuff links featured a couple of weeks ago, business men are falling short of excuses for forgetting their drives. Now, if you plan on going with the "Business Class" tie, please remember to eject and unplug the drive before standing up or you're going to find your face slamming into your keyboard. Trust me, it does not feel good.
