I'm not entirely sure when its appropriate to start talking about Christmas and Christmas shopping, especially since the Christmas season seems to be extended every year. But if you have the mental capacity to start thinking 2 months ahead then check out these floppy disk label gift tags. They're great and all, but you may want to use them sparingly. For one, a 5-pack goes for $5.50 and two, when you have a gift tag as cool and geeky as a floppy disk label, your loved ones will most likely expect something equally as cool and geeky (if not just totally cooler). In other words, don't use them for a box of socks.
The Floppy Disk Label Git Tags 5-pack is available feelfuzzy Etsy shop for $5.50.
Wow, people really do love snuggling up with their Japanese cuisine and the edamame body pillow is no exception. Man, if ONLY edamame were as big as body pillows. One appetizer would be like a crate of them, and it'd take all day just to eat one soy bean. In other words: heaven on earth! And honestly, what better way is there to show someone (or something) that you love them than making them your little spoon?
The Edamame Body Pillow is available from Perpetual Kid for $69.99.
Today Is InternaTIONAL CAPS LOCK DAY!
I was skeptical at first that there'd even be a "CAPS LOCK DAY" but I trust Engadget enough as a credible source that I'm willing to set aside my aggravations and roll with it. However, I would like to give some pointers on how to celebrate the art of cap locking with the purest of relevance. For one it is very effective to hit the caPS LOCK IN MID SENTENCE AND THEN APOLOGIZE PROFUSELY ONLY TO DO IT AGAIN WHEN YOU GET REALLY EXCITED. Another appropriate time would be when you are responding with minimal enthusiasm. Sure, you may not care that much about the dip I'll be making for the GV get together this weekend, BUT I TOTALLY WILL THINK YOU ARE!
Also, if you're feeling dangerous, you can whip out the italics. Just remember that it implies really sexy things.
Life Size Yoda Cake = Dad Of The Year
You'd be a proud dad too if your son requested a Star Wars themed birthday party. And just like how we always thought that our dads could do just about anything, Geoff proved this is true by constructing a life sized Yoda cake for his son's 4th birthday. Now where does one acquire such skills? Watching Ace of Cakes of course! Even though I'm kind of afraid of artificial green foods, I wouldn't mind biting into Yoda's torso. And if I was 4? Hell, I'd eat the whole thing.

Back To The Future II - Marty McFly's Jacket On eBay
Marty McFly's jacket from the Back To The Future II film is being auctioned off on eBay. Now, I know you have that unhealthy obsession with Michael J. Fox that almost makes me not want to talk to you, but I feel that it'd be only fair to point out that this is not the exact same jacket which he wears in the film, it is simply modeled after it. However, you can still get your kicks by looking like him for a Halloween costume, or you know, in real life. And really, who knows what kind of powers would be bestowed upon you with such dashing outerwear. You might even be able to make a skateboard hover!
At a starting bid of $399.99, you'd probably have to be a pretty big Michael J. fan. But hey, who am I to judge as long as you respect that restraining order? The auction ends October 26th and can be followed here
