Today on the Dairy: Salaryman Man, NIN and ThinkGeek Foolings!

The United States Of Books

aradfarmer

Part of Ron Arad's exhibition at the Timothy Taylor Gallery, this bookshelf would probably not be the best match for anyone with a mild to extreme case of OCD. However, someone like myself who has a strong hold on their chaotic organization, well, it's a match made in heaven.

So, Ron. Planning on any South America or Africa alternatives? Because I'll take one of each.

Salaryman Man

I...I don't even know. But for reasons I cannot explain, I feel compelled to share it with all of you. In all honesty, I think it's the "za-king!" that got my goat. No seriously, my goat is missing. Now who's going to eat these old cans and newspapers?!

ThinkGeek - It's That Time Of The Year Again...

I'm not really one to celebrate April Fools' Day. Maybe I'm just not much of a prankster or maybe I'm just too busy planning for Tyrannosunny Sunday, however, what I do know is that there is always something to look forward to a holiday printed on a calendar. And for me, that thing has become ThinkGeek's April Fools' Day products. Here's some of my favorites from this year:

Squeeze Bacon

Interactive Portal Shirts

Unicorn Chaser

and...

The Tauntaun Sleeping Bag (aka the one that all the other GVers fell for)

tauntaun

You can check out the rest of the "new" "featured" "products" here on ThinkGeek. And maybe if we're as lucky as we've been years before, at least one of these whimsies will go all the way to production!

The Life Clock Is Kind Of 7ish

f

You better be good at factoring with this clock since you're going to need to know your 7's pretty well. Sure it's not as busy as the redundant clock, but apparently there's some kind of philosophy somewhere to all of these numbers and how they represent years in your life. Whatever, as long as I'm still eating dinner at 49, I'll be ok.

Strobe Light - Even NIN Is In On It

strobelight1

Say what you will about NIN, but I love Trent Reznor and I have for a very long time. While I could sit here and list all the reasons why, I could just as easily save us both a lot of time by directing you to his April Fools' gag, the "new" NIN album, Strobe Light.

To download NIN's new full-length album Strobe Light, PRODUCED BY TIMBALAND, enter a valid email address in the fields below. A download link will be sent to you immediately. Your credit card will be charged $18.98 plus a $10 digital delivery convenience fee. Your files will arrive as windows media files playable on quite a few players with your name embedded all over them just in case you lose them. You will also receive an exclusive photo and a free email account with our partner Google's Gmail service.

Your email will be kept confidential and will not be used for spam, unless we can make some money selling it.

Trent, I already thought you were handsome to boot, but damn son, you are looking fine in those Kanye specks. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go put on my gold members jacket and rock out to these beats. I'm kidding! I'm already wearing it.
