Pac-Man Bags

Man, I actually used to carry my laptop in a vinyl bag the exact same size and cut as these kick ass bags by Rockza. Only difference? Mine wasn't and never will be nearly as cool. Yeah, Puma, you can suck it! I have Pac-Man now... Wait, no I don't.

Sadness ensues.

Both rockin' Pac-Man bags are available from HIPHOPER for about $39.00.

Chewbacca Slippers

With winter rolling in, it's important to keep your toesies nice and toasty. So why not take after those who are best at staying warm? Just imagine how warm slippers modeled after Chewbacca would be! That wookiee never has to wear sweaters, let alone any clothes.

The Chewbacca Slippers are available from ThinkGeek for $29.99.

Disclaimer: No Wookiees were harmed in the making of these slippers.

A Really Big Piñata

Not even all the baseball bats and hockey sticks in your cul-de-sac could bust open this giant piñata. Measuring in at 28.5 meters wide, 7.2 meters long and 18 meters tall, you can only imagine just how much noms would fit inside. Don't hurt yourself, it's 8,000 pounds of candy. And considering the size, a wrecking ball was used to crack it open.

Generally the idea of a colossal piñata would be enough to make me smile, but the knowledge that this all happened in Philadelphia this past weekend and I did not even know about it upsets me to the degree that we're going to need an even bigger piñata to make up for it. Come on! Get to it! Chop chop!

Cloverfield On Google Maps

Reggie, a pretty enthusiastic individual, took it upon himself to map out the events of the Cloverfield film, accompanied with more than appropriately written commentary for each spot. Seriously, more eloquent words have never been penned.

Check out the "where things in Cloverfield happen" Google Map here

Floppy Disk Notebook For Floppy Notes

The phantom which is the floppy disk continues to haunt us with these fabulous little notebooks. But seriously, what's the deal with the sudden influx of floppy disks and diskettes lately? Is this some weird phenomenon or have I just not been paying attention? Whatever, they still make for fun recycled products.

The Floppy Disk Notebook is available from GeekWare for $9.95. And if you prefer a colorful diskette notebook, you're in luck as they too are available in a plethora of colors for $6.95. Ok, maybe not a plethora of colors, but enough to make the average Joe (and our Joe) happy.

Dancing Robots - I'm Sorry

I think this may be one of the creepiest things I've seen for well over a long period of time. I'm sorry, but I just...I had to share. I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry...
