With a Cherry On Top

Leave it up to Germany to design an attractive, simple and useful heater. The Supertherma is a free standing glass radiator. Available in different sizes and with different panels (like the one above) you can either prop this up on your floor or mount it to a wall. No word on pricing yet, but I'm sure nobody could afford it.

These few were my favorite. There's more if you clickity click on the linkity link.

Remember when cell phones were just a cumbersome device that you could make calls on? Then there was text messaging. Then internet, cameras, video, mp3 players, blenders, stalker trackers, and more. These keep moving up. This slider phone focuses on the music by doubling up as a mini boom box. Usable with your AT&T/Cingular SIM card, this little hot box goes for $149.99. Not bad for a cell phone.

Tired of all those ugly chunky and not so funky webcams. Live up that vintage taste of yours with the Retro Style Webcam. Use it for chatting or taking 1.3 megapixel pictures. No hating on Macs or PC's because it is compatible with both. Clip this puppy on and your laptop has never looked hipper. Keep an eye out for it at Chinavasion.
Solid Gold Remote Control: Why?
I guess the only true purpose to owning a solid gold remote control is for the fact that you can say that you own a solid gold remote control. Designed by Lantic for operating all your home media, this little ol' thing will put you back only $55,000.
I was personally attracted to this story on technabob for the name of the blog itself: "Solid Gold Remote Control Costs More Than a Lexus". Now that is down right ridiculous. Lucky for me, I don't know anyone who that would actually impress.
The People I know: You actually bought a $55,000 solid gold remote control?
Me: Yeah, don't you respect me now?
The People I Know: You're a loser.
Me: *poutful regret*

When I lived overseas, I would have killed for a pair of these. Everyday I had to march through the dark, the snow, the ice, and the sludge in order to get my ass to school. My only company: my iPod. And I owe it all to that iPod for keeping me sane. It is exactly what it is, Ear Muff Headphones. And if you're someone who has to spend a lot of time outside this winter, and you like some music to soundtrack your misery, then this is just what you needed. Only $30 too, which isn't bad considering some ear muffs alone are priced over that.
And here's just what I needed: one of my favorite songs "Just What I Needed"
