Thieves Hijack Truck Full of Rock Band
Gamers in Los Angeles Are Gonna Freak
by Nikkita
Last night in Los Angeles, a truck carrying 1,000 copies of the Harmonix and EA’s highly demanded game, Rock Band, was hijacked. Unfortunately for LA gamers, it is going to be a sad Christmas. Two thieves held the driver at gunpoint and unloaded the entire cargo. That’s about $170,000 worth of merchandise.
It is suspected that this was an inside job. The truck, which had been loaded Saturday night, was unmarked. Therefore the thieves would have known the truck was worth hijacking and had a place to unload all 1,000 boxes. Those boxes are pretty big, so that was no cakewalk. There are no leads.
There are a lot of people in LA, and when they want something, they want it now. That’s a total of 1000 gaming patrons that will NOT be getting a copy of Rock Band before Christmas. And let me tell you…they’re angry. This is a warning to you, thieves. You better pray you do not cross paths with any of these gaming individuals or families. Because they will either cut you or have someone cut you. There are gangs in LA, my friends. And they’re really good at cutting.
