At the end of a long, hard week of playing video games for a living, Luke Brown wanted to kick back and relax. So to unwind, he decided to play some video games. His game of choice? Tecmo Bowl for the Nintendo Entertainment System. He was just settling in when from across the room he heard some moron shout out belligerently, "Hey jerk! That's my favorite game! I'll bet I can beat you in it!" Without hesitation, our hero accepted the loudmouthed Mike Sadorf's challenge, waged a dollar for every touchdown scored, and unwittingly gave birth to a new office tradition.

It’s that one game you’ve mastered time and time again. You’ve spent countless hours earning all the trophies and unlocking all the achievements. The only person’s score left to beat is your own…until someone comes along and throws the gauntlet. They take you down a peg or two. Their heart is black and your ego is bruised. You’ve tried and you’ve tried, you’re losing your mind, but it’s still the same. You’re losing your favorite game.
