My pokemons....
Let me show you them!!!
I remember one day in middle school, maybe 6th grade... a friend of mine came in with his GameBoy and showed me a Pokemon game. It kinda freaked me about at first but I thought the characters were soooo cute! I had a major crush on Jigglypuff. This was... oh ssaaayyy... over 10 years ago.
I never looked at another Pokemon game again.
That is, of course, until my boyfriend got on my ass about it. Told me how much fun I'd have. This obviously took months and months of convincing. (I'm pretty stubborn..)
NOW I CAN'T PUT THE DAMN GAME DOWN.
I wish I was home playing it at this moment.
Good ol' Pokemon Pearl with its Piplup(that's who I started with).
It's been 3 days... over 11 hours of play... most of my pokemons are up to lvl 20... I'm fucking ready to battle.
Or not...
Anyways, this is like when I finally accepted the fact that I should make a facebook. It took months, but I ended up loving it.
Just felt the need to share.

Pokemon is an awesome concept which has been beaten to death, but nintendo continues to beat it because sometimes it twitches. I started playing pearl again just after 'My Pokemon Ranch' was released on the Wii. I'm having a good time grabbing the 'mons I missed the first time around, and it's totally worth the money just for the screenshots you can take.
I remember in 6th grade I brought mah pokemans in and some kid was like, "OMG YOU GOT THAT POKEMAN!?" And I was like, "Chyea dude, who doesn't have this pokeman?" Then I traded it for one of his rare ass pokeman and he was like, "OMG POKEMANS!!!" And I was like, "Pssh, n00b."
what are there like 400 now?
it was fun then, but i think they're beating that concept to death.
Jen only uses pokémons that have high "cute" stat!!!
I only use pokemon that kick cute pokemon ass.
I will fight you all. And I do not only use "cute" pokemon.
Sure, I enjoy them, but I prefer badass ones.
I played blue, yellow, and then gold (and pokemon snap, but that's neither here nor there). I enjoyed them all thoroughly. But when I tried playing ruby it just wasn't the same. Too many unfamiliar faces, too many gameplay changes, and the double pokebattles seemed like cheating somehow...
Maybe I'm just disenchanted. Haven't thrown a pokeball since then. Oh well.
Jen is lying. Last night she got, like, 8 legendary Pokemons, and then realized that they didn't have high cute stat and stuck them in box 18 because she "hates the ones without high cute stat."
