It has happened again.

I am, once again, stuck between two games. I want to play and finish them both. But somehow I just can't bring myself to play either one.

The first one is Shin Megami Tensei - Nocturne. It's an awesome post-apolcalyptic tale of demons and ancient evils. It's also somewhat similar to Pokémon. It is a lot of fun - except the fact that it requires a mind-numbing amount of level grinding to even get past random battles late in the game. I estimate that my progress in this game is stuck at about 75%.

Then we have game number two: Valkyrie Profile 2: Silmeria. Also a really great game, with breathtaking graphics and a battle system which essentially makes each new skirmish a pure joy. It is also insanely difficult at times, and bosses demand a steep amount of grinding to even budge. It is awesome, though. It doesn't have the deep, dark, quirky story that nocturne has, but it has got a certain je nais c'est quoi of its own. I think I'm stuck at somewhere around 50% of this game.

Now, let me clarify one thing: I'm not literally stuck. It's not as if I don't know what to do next. But I'm stuck in the sense that I've been playing these two games at the same time for a while and now I suddenly have no real wish to finish either, even though they are great.
