Warhammer Online Live Event
Warhammer Online is hosting a live event from October 29th to November 5th called the Witching Night. Obviously it's a take on Halloween, but Mythic's got plenty of goodies in store for those who'll forgo trick-or-treating. These include the following:
- A unique Public Quest in each of the four tiers, located inside the Open RvR areas so that Order and Destruction will be competing against each other for these PQs.
- Ghosts of fallen warriors will now haunt the countryside. They are rare and harmless, but if captured will give you a chance at some great loot.
- Witches will be spread across the realms raising undead. Stopping their tricks will grant you plenty of treats.
- Masks and cloaks exclusive to the Witching Night event will be rare drops, along with plenty of other items to keep your eye out for.
I know I'll be checking this event out in the next few days. I love what they do for holidays in Guild Wars and this looks to be just as good. Check the link for more details on the Witching Night.

I didn't see your question until now, but to be honest, it sucked. The Open RVR PQ was painfully slow. For Tier 2, Order and Destruction battled to see who could kill 100 of each other the fastest. Whoever got to 100 first would then fight a huge hero NPC. The problem is the area where PVP kills counted towards the score was very small, so enemy players could just run out of the zone if they were in danger. It took us maybe three hours to finish the PQ, and since everyone was doing it all the other PQs were empty. I just stayed offline after that until the event was over.
