EA Spring Preview: BattleForge Interview
BattleForge is an RTS and collectible card game hybrid, offering you the chance to play by yourself and against your friends, matching decks, wits, and your twitch reflexes in epic fantasy battles. There's trading, there is strategic deck-building, and there is definitly going to be some sort of rush/sploit that everyone will complain about but still use because it totally owns.

when i saw this at nycc, it definitely piqued my interest. after watching this, i will say i'm even more intrigued.

I don't get how cards improve this game over other RTS-type games. And if it doesn't...then am I getting nickel and dimed here?
Game looks good, but I, like always, am incredulous....
