Back in the day, there was this genre called the turn-based strategy game. It was sort of like board games, but with the moving pictures. Now it seems like the TBS only exists in games with androgynous male leads, made by Japanese dev teams.

Jagged Alliance 2 is a game that came from a long lineage of PC turn-based strategy games. Essentially born from the X-Com series. It's sort of like a 16th century shipping magnate - in its day it was all powerful and people talked about it. Now everyone is like "Jagged-huh-what?"
