Does Anyone Remember...
He is coming. A possessed man. Shadow Man is coming.

Anyone remember Shadow Man from Acclaim?
Released in 1999 for the N64, Playstation & Dreamcast (DC version ftw!), this one got lost amidst the bigger releases that year of which there were quite a few. I was doing a little pre-spring cleaning and came across my DC copy. My DC is at my in-laws (leave it there so the kids can pummel each other with Soul Calibur when we visit) so can't play it at the moment but I remember this being an excellent game.
As I recall, it had a really crazy and bizarre story featuring one Michael LeRoi who stumbles across some "lost" money, gets his family killed and he ends up a zombie slave in New Orleans (not making this up) and then gets some voodoo artifact shoved in his chest to become Shadow Man. There's more to it of course but the story deals with the occult.
Never did finish it (got stuck) but I recall it having excellent atmosphere due to its well realized (and tremendously creepy) 3D world (looked great on the DC), great music, tons of cut scenes and voice acting, had good controls, great writing and was gory as hell.
It didn't lead you by the hand either - as I recall it was pretty difficult, could be why I never finished it. This would be a perfect title to remake today for the PS3/360.
So, anyone play this?

All I remember of Shadow Man is a little comic book that came in (I think) a game magazine. It was about how some voodoo spirits were after this girl because she was a twin whose sibling died. Never actually got the game.
At least I think it was Shadow Man. It's been like a decade.
I really enjoyed this game. My record shop was somehow sent a complimentary review copy of the PC version and we used to play it on the back office computer all the time.
