160 GB PS3 Hitting U.S. With Uncharted: Drake's Fortune
Tons of Space and a Great Game
by Sarah

Late adopters ofy the PS3 may not be able to resist Sony’s console much longer. After announcing the 160 GB PS3 for PAL regions earlier today, Sony has announced that the newest PS3 SKU will be hitting the U.S. as well. The system will come with awesome PS3 exclusive Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune, a DualShock 3, and a PSN voucher for PAIN. The system will be available in November and will come with a retail price of $499.99.
What?! Five hundred bucks for a PS3 with that much space and one of 2007’s best games?! Damn, I got ripped off. At least my 60 gig still has backwards compatibility. Sometimes it pays to get a console several years into its life; if you’ve been on the fence about getting a PS3, you might want to take advantage of this bundle.

Yeah, yeah, yeah....yaaaawn.
Just kidding! It's a good deal for anyone that wants/needs it!
(Where were you when Voyou San and I were awake?)
hey havent i seen this topic before? :)
Sarah i dont think you got ripped off. your 60GB has the complete BC and 4 USB ports. This 160 will have only 2 USB ports and no BC. Plus for not very much cash, you can slap a SATA HD into your current 60GB and make it a 160GB.
That's what I did!
Still would probably go for the 80GB. Cheaper, and I don't see how I'd fill up 160GB. Hell, I've only used ~45GB of my Elite's HD.
best bet would be to pick up an 80GB MGS4 bundle or ebay a 60GB model like i did.. 60GB for 300 bucks on ebay, a win everytime
Does the PS3 accept a standard-sized SATA HDD?! If so, that is teh awesomes.
