250GB PS3 Coming Next Month
Sony Rolls Out More Hard Drive Space
by Sarah

Did you buy one of those shiny new 120GB PS3 Slim systems? Well, you're not alone; on their blog, Sony stated that they have sold over a million consoles since the Slim launched. They also said that if you waited just a little longer, and spent $50 extra, you could have had a system with twice as much hard drive space. Okay, they didn't say it exactly like that, but that's pretty much the case.
A 250GB PS3 model will be hitting stores November 3. Aside from the increased hard drive, the features of the system will be exactly the same as the 120GB Slim. If you already scooped up one of the lighter models, don't feel bad; 120 gigs is plenty of space, so you should be set for a while. However, those who held out now have even more options this holiday season.

A new Sku? GET OUT OF TOWN. I hate this dick size competition between Sony and Microsoft. It's really not necessary.
Coop couldn't have said that any better!
lol good job Coop. I'm still using my 20gb 360 and I've got 3gb's left. So yea 250gb is pushing it. 500 or 720 would be overkill. And I've got $20 that says they'll be there next year.
I'm glad that all I have to do to obtain this new version of the console is to, simply, purchase a bigger SATA hard drive.
i have the original 80gb ps3 with 4 usb slots. I think i will stick with what i have
