After not hearing much about Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth since it was announced in April, Capcom has finally given the game a North American release date amongst all of the Comic Con festivities. The cunning prosecutor’s spinoff game comes out February 16, 2010, which is a little later than I was hoping for. I’m not sure why Capcom didn’t try to get it out in time for the holiday season rush; perhaps the localization process is especially lengthy for this text-heavy game.

In Edgeworth, much of the action will be moved out of the courtroom as the title character investigates crime scenes and works with the police to solve crimes. As you can see, bumbling Officer Gumshoe makes an appearance in the game, and I also hope it retains the random references to American pop culture that the series is known for. Only seven more months until we find out!
