Arkham Asylum Gets New Release Date
Moves From Early Summer to Late Summer
by Sarah

Originally, Batman: Arkham Asylum was supposed to come out late next month. Then it was hit with a delay, disappointing many gamers and causing some of us to believe that it wouldn’t see store shelves until the overcrowded holiday season. As it turns out, we won’t have to wait quite that long, as Arkham Asylum has just been given a new North American release date: August 25. Don’t cry, Europe, because you actually didn’t get screwed; you only have to wait three more days until Arkham Asylum launches in PAL regions on August 28.
If pushing it back those two months means that the game will be polished, fantastic, and everything I want it to be, than so be it. I can wait a little longer if it means finally getting the fucking awesome Batman game I’ve always wanted. Of course, I will be getting my grubby little hands on this next week at E3, so expect impressions in the coming days.
