In addition to Assassin’s Creed II coming out later this year, Assassin’s Creed: Bloodlines is also coming to the PSP, and Sony would like to remind you of that fact with this trailer. Not only are they reminding you that the game is coming, but they’re reinforcing the PSP part by sticking this trailer in a portable system. It seems a bit redundant, but the game looks pretty promising, so I won’t complain. Assassin’s Creed on the DS wasn’t bad, so there’s no reason that fans of the series shouldn’t be excited about this one.

Taking place between Assassin’s Creed and Assassin’s Creed II, Bloodlines will feature gameplay similar to that of the first game, which of course isn’t a bad thing. After not having a whole lot of PSP games to play recently, it’s going to be pretty interesting later this year when a whole bunch of triple-A titles come out for Sony’s handheld.
