Assassin's Creed II DLC Coming January 28

Extend the Adventure With "Battle of Forli"

by Sarah

Game publishers used to make announcements with press releases and at big conferences, but there's really no need for all of that nonsense anymore thanks to the magic of Twitter. Once again, someone in the gaming industry has tweeted some news for the rest of the world in 140 characters or less. This time it's Ubisoft, dating the previously announced "Battle of Forli" downloadable content for Assassin's Creed II. You can extend your adventure as soon as next week, because the DLC will be available Thursday, January 28.

The additional content from one of 2009's most critically acclaimed games will run you four bucks, or 320, and will be available for the 360 and PS3. As a reminder, "Forli" will include six more memories connected to a new mission, which doesn't sound like a bad amount of content for only a few dollars. With more ACII DLC due out next month in the form of "The Bonfire of the Vanities", you should be able to get your fill of assassinations and Templars.

I will be definitely getting this DLC but I wouldn't be able to touch it no time soon due to the fact that I will be shutting off the world for a few weeks because I will be obsessing with Mass Effect 2 coming next week Tuesday. Yeah! Baby! Yeah!

I have definitely been looking forward to these. Hopefully my 4 bucks will get me at least another full night of playtime.
