When it comes to video games, let’s face it, Australia gets flat-out boned a lot of the time. Many titles are delayed months or even years before they reach the continent that is also a country, not to mention the fact that gamers have to deal with huge markups and censorship as well. However, Australia is getting one thing that is pretty cool: an Xbox 360 Pro bundle that ships with both Gears of War and Gears of War 2. Okay, this probably does nothing for the millions of gamers who already a 360, but for Australians who have not made the Microsoft plunge yet, the time is now.

The bundle will retail for $449 Australian dollars, which apparently amounts to around $350 USD, meaning that it would be a mighty good deal on our shores. The 60-gig 360 sells for $300 alone, Gears is $30, and Gears 2 is still $60, meaning that you’d save, like, money and stuff. See, I didn’t take that semester of college Calculus for nothing! While I don’t see a reason this shouldn’t be released worldwide, as of now there are no plans to sell it outside of Australia. Congratulations, Australia! You got something first!
