Have you kind of given up on the Wii’s Virtual Console? Are you sick of the deluge of mediocre, less-than-memorable games that should have been left in the past? When the games are announced on Monday, do you usually say “Where is ____________?”, the giant blank being a better game?

If you’ve answered “yes” to any of these questions, I’ve got some good news. According to Kotaku, four awesome Interplay titles are coming to the Virtual Console at some point in the indeterminate future: Earthworm Jim, Earthworm Jim 2, Boogerman, and Clayfighter, all of which were Genesis titles.



This is exciting news, Earthworm Jim was one of the games I wanted on the VC from the start. I have since picked up a copy for my Genesis on the cheap, but if you don’t have it, it’s well worth the 8 bucks. I may have to drop some points on the sequel, though. No date on any of these, but hopefully it won’t be too long until we’re all playing these Genesis classics with our Wii remotes.
