BioShock 2 Gets Official Release Date
And Europe Gets it First!
by Sarah

Europe might get burned a lot when it comes to video game release dates, but they will be getting one of the most anticipated sequels of the year before North America. Take-Two has just announced that BioShock 2, sequel to 2007's Game of the Year, will hit Europe on October 30 of this year. North American gamers have just a little longer to wait--until November 3.
This puts it right around the date that GameStop has had listed for weeks now, but we're industry professionals, so we just mock and dismiss GameStop (until they're proven right). No matter what date appears on any retailer's list of upcoming games, it always feels the best to hear it straight from the publisher. Stay tuned for what I can only imagine will be an overwhelming amount of hype for this game. If it's anything like the first, BioShock 2 will more than live up to it.

Europe gets it first? That's insulting.
In related news: Bioshock 2 gets yet another subtitle. Unfortunately it's now Bioshock 2: The Ballad of Gay Tony.
....awkward............
Europe gets everything first. Bioshock 2, democracy, bubonic plague...
