Black Friday Watch: GameStop Deals Revealed
Prepare for War
by Sarah

GameStop, evil mega-corporation and world’s largest video game retailer, has revealed its Black Friday deals via website BFads.net, my new best friend. Someone has scanned a whole lot of promotional fliers for the store, letting us know exactly what to expect should you decide to risk life and limb going to GameStop next Friday.
Here are some of the best deals:
• Buy 2 Get 1 Free on All Pre-Owned Games and Accessories
• Buy any new Xbox 360 game and get 50% off a second new 360 game
• Free AC/DC Track Pack with any Rock Band purchase
• Batman: Arkham Asylum on sale for $39.99 (360 or PS3 version)
• Beatles: Rock Band (360 version) on sale for $49.99
• Borderlands on sale for $49.99 (360/PS3)
• Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII for $9.99
• Dead Space: Extraction for $19.99
• Guitar Hero 5 (360/PS3) for $39.99
• Halo 3: ODST for $39.99
• Left 4 Dead 2 (360) for $39.99; Left 4 Dead 2 (PC) for $29.99
• PS3 Slim with LittleBigPlanet GOTY Edition and God of War Collection for $299.99
• The Sims 3 PC for $29.99
• Xbox 360 Elite with Pure, Lego Batman, and your choice of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare or Bakugan for $299.99
There are many more deals to be found, and likely a lot of them will suit your specific holiday gift buying or personal video game needs, so you can check out everything GameStop has to offer. Keep in mind that many new or popular titles are being listed at full price, but GS is guaranteeing that they will be in stock. Some of those deals are pretty awesome, but damned if I’ll ever step into a GameStop on Black Friday again. They could be offering a PlayStation 3 for $20 for all I care. Good luck to the rest of you, though!
