Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia Haunting the DS

What, Was “Sepulcher of Melancholy” Taken?

by Sarah

I’ve been a fan of the Castlevania series since the days of the first Nintendo, so hearing that another installment in the long-running vampire-fighting series is coming to the Nintendo DS makes me happy. The last two Castlevania DS games, Dawn of Sorrow and Portrait of Ruin, were both very solid, although just as dark and gloomy as the rest of the series.

It looks like I’m in luck, because the ESRB has just rated a new game, Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia, which will be coming to the DS at some unspecified time in the future. Though I’m sure I’ll end up getting it, I can’t say I much care for that subtitle. But then again, it’s Castlevania—they’ve made a name for themselves with depressing, sometimes confusing subtitles. Who cares? New Castlevania for DS! Yay!

I am still playing Symphony of the Night.

I just got 200.6% completion in under 7 hours on my PSP.

That game will always be a 10 out of 10 in my book.
