I’ve been a fan of the Castlevania series since the original NES release of the first game, so it should come as no surprise that I’m looking forward to the upcoming DS title Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia, despite the typically strange subtitle. Konami has released a new trailer for the game to get fans hyped up for its October 22 release date. Check it out.



I have to say that it looks very typically Castlevania, not that that’s necessarily a bad thing. I loved the first two DS Castlevania titles, Dawn of Sorrow and Portrait of Ruin, so I expect that this one will be pretty good, too. I did spot some new weapons and foes in the trailer, so that should be pretty interesting. We’ll have a full review for you in the coming weeks.
