Unless you’re some kind of soulless, awful human being, you are excited about LittleBigPlanet. Even if you don’t have a PS3, you have to admit that the game looks pretty awesome. As for those of us (read: everyone) who thought that there was no way the game would make its 2008 release date, Sony has just proven us all wrong: LittleBigPlanet has gone gold, and will indeed be in stores next month. Hooray!

So how is Sony celebrating the launch of one of its biggest PS3 exclusives to date? With some free DLC, of course! Our friends over at the PlayStation blog have announced that some downloadable goodies will be available to week one buyers: a space suit (to celebrate the “launch”… Oh Sony, you’re so cute) and a “I was there Week One” shirt, both of which will look adorable on your Sackboys and girls.





Remember, these items will only be available during the first week after the game comes out, so don’t forget to download them. I’ve had my copy of this game reserved for months, so I will certainly be playing this game the moment it is released. After over a year of waiting, it’s hard to believe that LittleBigPlanet will be in my hands in just a little over a month.
