Dead Rising Coming to Wii?
Hope You Can Put Down Wii Music Long Enough to Play This

I really thought all of the most surprising news was going to be coming straight from E3 this week, but as it turns out, that’s not the case at all. After a ho-hum showing from Nintendo at their press conference yesterday, I was sure we had gotten all the Wii game announcements we were going to get, but Famitsu had other ideas.
According to Kotaku, the Japanese magazine is claiming that Dead Rising, Capcom’s critically acclaimed zombie-killing 360 game, is coming to the Wii. Yes, you read that right: a 360 game is being ported to the Nintendo Wii. Check out the scans below if you don’t believe me.

Keep in mind that this has not yet been officially confirmed by Nintendo or Capcom, so we’ll keep this on rumor status for the time being. While porting over a best-selling Capcom title worked well for Resident Evil 4, I don’t think anyone really saw this coming. If they can pull it off, great! Dead Rising was a fun game, and it would be nice for a broader audience to get a stab at the game. However, given the Wii’s technical limitations, I can’t help but wonder how well a 360 game is going to make the translation. I really hope Capcom can pull it off, though, as it gets harder and harder to defend the Wii every day.
