Destroy Your Friends' Gardens in Viva Pinata: Trouble in Paradise

Oh boy, this is going to lead to a lot of ended friendships and busted pinatas. Joystiq is reporting that one of the many new features of Viva Pinata: Trouble in Paradise will be four player online co-op. The original Viva Pinata only took advantage of Xbox Live in order to allow you to send your friends pinatas and chocolate coins, a very sweet gesture. Trouble in Paradise is taking it to the next level by letting three of your friends edit your garden with all of the tools available in the single-player game.
You know what this means, right? That $10,000 Chewnicorn with a buttload of accessories that took hours to coax into residency? Gone. The trees you've been slowly fertilizing in order to squeeze the maximum amount of fruit out of their brances? Likely replaced by some poisonous weeds. I guess it's possible that you have nice friends who will help you rather than hinder you, I've read about things like that, but I can't see it happening. Oh, it's going to be a massacre, pinata innards everywhere!
All I know is that if I find my garden all effed up, there's going to be hell to pay. FemJesse, Mikey Hamz, Darth Mattingly, and anyone else looking to get in on the pinata action when Trouble in Paradise is released next month: stay the hell out of my garden.

Yup, I knew the whole "nice friends" thing was a myth.
That's a cool new feature. Just too bad I lost patience just playing the demo for the first game. I'm sure it's cool but I'll wait a while longer before I give into the dark side of cutesy gaming.
